Job summary

Siemens Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in Northern Kentucky. You will lead automatic transfer switch startups, warranty efforts, and preventative maintenance, while delivering high‑quality service and communicating clearly with customers.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in electrical power systems, experience with switchgear, the ability to read schematics, and knowledge of codes.

Qualifications

• Electrical power experience with low to medium voltage switchgear for critical facilities
• Experience with automatic transfer switch testing
• Ability to read power control schematics and blueprints
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• On-call 24/7 with company cell phone
• Focus on automatic transfer switches and startups
• Provide technical support for field startups and warranty efforts
• Perform preventive maintenance and remedial repairs
• Ensure safety policies and compliance
• Travel up to 80%
