Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer for New Zealand. You will deliver remote service support across ANZ, drive service growth, and uphold high customer satisfaction while supporting sales initiatives and ISO-aligned reporting.

Requirements include a Biomedical or Electrical Engineering degree and 5+ years of field service experience, with knowledge of flow cytometry, liquid handlers, and centrifugation. Remote work is permitted.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Biomedical / Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of prior field service experience in related field is preferred.
• Desirable knowledge of Flow Cytometry, Liquid Handlers and Centrifugation.
• Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage all aspects of customer interaction to ensure satisfaction and first-time fixes.
• Close service calls and manage escalations per procedures with ISO audit readiness.
• Grow Field Service Maintenance Agreements and generate new equipment leads for sales.
• Lead by example in daily management and KPIs; pursue continuous improvements.
• Engage in value selling by identifying opportunities for additional services, reagents, consumables, and new equipment leads.
