Job summary

HUDSON LAB AUTOMATION is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers, dealers, and service teams across Hudson lab automation systems. You will commission, install, troubleshoot, and maintain instruments at customer sites, providing rapid issue triage, and detailed documentation.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in field service, and comfort with travel, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of field service or customer‑facing support experience.
• Experience with laboratory automation products such as robotics and liquid handling systems preferred.
• Ability to travel weekly to customer sites, including domestic overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Commission, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Hudson Lab Automation systems and devices in the field.
• Provide applications support to customers and internal teams.
• Respond rapidly to customer support requests and triage issues.
• Document service case activities, issues, and resolutions promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales to deliver excellent customer service.
• Train customers in routine operation of hardware and software.
