Bruker is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Chemspeed to install, calibrate, service and repair advanced automation systems at customer sites across the US. The role is ideally based in the Bay Area, with some travel to Oregon and Colorado, and requires strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

The candidate will perform FAT/SAT support, provide on-site training, document activities, and collaborate with R&D and Engineering to improve products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a physics/engineering/biotech/chemistry field.
• Minimum 3 years field service or instrumentation maintenance in a lab.
• Strong electromechanical, robotics and automation troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with programming and industrial communication protocols; able to read schematics.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, maintain and repair automation and robotic systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and upgrades to ensure uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and basic software issues; perform root-cause analysis.
