Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to support, integrate, and optimize precision fastening tools and connected manufacturing solutions across US facilities. Remote position with travel to customer sites, including Canada.

You will install, commission, troubleshoot, and train customers while coordinating with service teams and engineering to ensure system reliability. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and hands-on technical skills in MES integration,

Qualifications

5+ years MES PFOP experience
5+ years Digital I/O configuration
5+ years Fieldbus Profinet/EthernetIP
5+ years Software installation and validation
5+ years Wi-Fi configuration/troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Travel to customer facilities to install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot precision fastening systems, controllers, and software solutions.
Provide onsite and remote technical support for customers, distributors, and internal service teams.
Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, networking, and process-related issues in production environments.
Conduct equipment assessments and recommend corrective actions to improve system performance and uptime.
Deliver customer training on product operation, software functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Support production launch activities and ensure successful implementation of connected manufacturing solutions.
