Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service precision fastening tools and connected manufacturing solutions at customer sites, with remote work options. You will collaborate with MES, PLCs, and IT teams to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

The role requires extensive travel within the US and abroad, strong service mindset, and hands-on expertise in software/hardware integration, data collection, and system optimization.

Formación

• 5+ Years of experience with MES with power tools communicating with PFOP.
• 5+ Years of experience with Digital I/O configuration and troubleshooting.
• 5+ Years of experience with Fieldbus communications with Profinet or EthernetIP.
• 5+ Years of experience with Software installation and validation.
• 5+ Years of experience with Configuring devices for Wi-Fi communications & troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot fastening systems and related software at customer sites.
• Collaborate with automation, IT, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable system performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot digital I/O, MES integration, and fieldbus communications.
• Support FAT/SAT and production startup, and document service procedures.
• Mentor junior technicians and stay current on automation trends.
