Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will install, commission, test, and start up electrical equipment at customer sites while troubleshooting and delivering technical service.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, learn under seasoned engineers, and build customer relationships. The role emphasizes learning, travel to customer sites, and contributing to reliable energy solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Entry-level experience or internship in field service or related technical environment.
Strong communication and customer service skills to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Support installation, commissioning, testing, and start-up of electrical products at customer sites.
Assist diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to equipment performance.
Provide technical guidance and product support during field service activities.
Research and evaluate equipment enhancements to address customer needs.
Develop positive customer relationships to support satisfaction and future opportunities.
Assist in troubleshooting during commissioning and service projects.
Deliver customer training on equipment features and best practices.
Maintain accurate service documentation and records.
