Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence in the Dallas Fort Worth, Austin TX or Tulsa region seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and optimize high-precision Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software systems, provide customer training, and work with R&D to implement feedback. Expect 100% regional travel and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, and software areas.
• Strong problem-solving and independence.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and travel regularly within territory.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with CMM or industrial automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain high-tech CMM machines at customer locations.
• Provide technical expertise and training to customers on operation and upkeep.
• Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to incorporate customer feedback into products.
• Work independently in a dynamic setting while delivering customer satisfaction.
• Complete service reports accurately and provide feedback for service improvements.
