Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking a Field Sales Manager to support a defined dealer network remotely, with in-field visits, events and high travel. You will drive sales, grow ridership, and increase dealer penetration while building strong relationships and acting as a product expert for Motorcycle, P&A, and Motor clothes lines.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years' related experience, a strong grasp of financial drivers, and a track record of exceeding sales targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
• Solid understanding of financial measures and forecasting.
• Deep understanding of key financial drivers of a dealer's business.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Retail expertise, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and gain buy-in for strategic market plans with dealers.
• Improve performance metrics using leading practices.
• Conduct monthly vehicle forecasting and market plan reviews.
• Resolve dealer issues by leveraging internal resources.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies with dealers.
• Develop training plans for dealers in defined markets.
• Provide feedback and influence dealer performance.
• Act as product experts for Harley-Davidson products; coordinate with retail managers.
• Attend HDMC events and support dealer market events; travel as needed.
