Job summary

Acre Security seeks a Field Sales Engineer to advance our access control and security solutions. This remote role covers the Northeastern US, engaging with executives and partners to tailor demonstrations and solutions that meet client needs.

You will collaborate with product and marketing teams, manage proofs of concept, and contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and architecture designs. A strong security technology background and proven communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar field.
• Familiar with Physical Access Control Systems, Video Management Systems, and/or other Security Software.
• Presales or deployment experience in Physical Security Solutions.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to customers (technical and non-technical).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on with workstation/server OS and networking; cloud or database knowledge is helpful.
• Technical degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted advisor for acre security solutions in the region by supporting sales and channel partners.
• Configure and lead the technical demonstration of products and solutions to customers based on their needs.
• Manage Proof of Concept.
• Participate in industry trade shows, workgroups, and lunch and learns.
• Assist sales with technical responses and content for proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs & RFQs.
• Own the IT Questionnaire response within your region.
• Craft and deliver quotations, proposals, requirements documentation, and architecture & integration designs.
• Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Support for feedback on product enhancements and market demands.
