Job summary

Cetera Financial Group seeks a Field Sales Representative to build and grow relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms within an assigned territory. You will provide product education, case support, and sales resources across annuity, life, long-term care, and disability insurance, in collaboration with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, consultative case support, and independent territory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services, insurance distribution, life/annuity products, wholesaling, sales support, or field-facing sales environment.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63, and applicable life/health/annuities licensing required or ability to obtain licensing as determined by regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of life/annuity products, insurance distribution, product illustration and case design concepts, sales pipeline management, account relationship management, consultative selling, agent onboarding, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a consistent new business pipeline by developing relationships with agencies, agents, advisors, and partner firms.
• Provide proactive outreach and responsive support for quote activity, sales opportunities, product education, and case follow-up.
• Conduct product analysis, illustration support, case design guidance, underwriting navigation, and competitive positioning across annuity, life, long-term care, and disability products.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales and Relationship Managers on territory planning, advisor engagement, and regional events.
• Travel within the assigned region up to 25% to support meetings, training, and field events.
• Maintain CRM documentation, pipeline reporting, and activity updates for coordinated territory management.
