Job summary

Grainger is hiring a Field Safety Specialist to assess customer facilities, identify hazards, and design risk-reducing safety solutions using Grainger products and services. You will collaborate with the Grainger sales team to develop targeted strategies for a territory and report to the Senior Manager, Safety.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Safety/Environmental Health or related field, 3+ years in EHS, and CSP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health required.
• 3+ years of Environmental Health and Safety industry experience required.
• Experience conducting workplace safety assessments and hazard mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer facilities to identify existing hazards and risks and position Grainger products and services to reduce risk.
• Engage internal and external resources to create safety solutions for customers.
• Create a risk-ranked implementation plan with the customer.
• Validate that proposed solutions address the customer's business challenges.
• Leverage post-implementation success to uncover future needs and opportunities.
