Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Field Technical Specialist to serve as a field-based technical resource supporting the Roofing business. You will conduct inspections, evaluate workmanship, and provide technical guidance while documenting field activities and maintaining records.

The role is remote (national) with up to 75% travel across the U.S. and Canada, including weekend travel when required. Strong communication and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to safely access steep-slope roofs and perform inspections.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% annually within the U.S. and Canada.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, post-job walks, and technical evaluations.
• Document inspection findings accurately per company standards.
• Maintain organized field records and contractor/customer interactions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to contractors.
• Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts when needed.
• Deliver contractor training and hands‑on demonstrations.
