Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to support reimbursement and patient services across the Madison, WI and surrounding region, with travel as needed. This client-facing role educates office staff on benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and claims processes, and collaborates with manufacturers to optimize patient access.

The FRM will work independently in a fast-paced environment, build long-term relationships with physician offices, and track activity in FRM CRM

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of healthcare reimbursement experience
• Experience with Medicare and commercial insurance coverage

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff on reimbursement challenges and available support services. On-site/virtual interactions average 15 per week.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Support Center Services, Medicare and Commercial coverage; monthly activity reporting.
• Reimbursement support on case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission, specialty pharmacy and medical benefit interpretation.
• Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to obtain and provide patient and provider information; all interactions tracked in FRM CRM.
• Monitor program performance via FRM CRM dashboard and quarterly client reports.
• Research provider/manufacturer data to build provider accounts in FRM CRM and hub systems
