Job summary

Alfasigma USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to join our USA Rare Disease Payer Market Access team. The role is remote-based with travel three days a week and can be based in IL, IN, MI, or OH.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to remove access barriers, educate staff, and optimize patient adherence across assigned regions. Required are 7 years of biopharma commercial experience, 5 years in Market Access/Sales, and deep payer knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7 years of commercial experience in biopharmaceuticals, preferably with specialty products.
• 5 years in Market Access or Sales, with PBM experience preferred.
• Extensive pharmacy benefit knowledge and payer criteria understanding.
• Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare Part D payer segments.
• Experience launching orphan or specialty products is strongly preferred.
• Must live within territory and hold a valid driver’s license; travel up to 60%.
• Leadership without authority and strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish Alfasigma as a strategic partner with targeted accounts.
• Educate office staff on prior authorization, denial steps, and appeals.
• Educate on financial assistance options and patient support services.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Sales, Marketing to remove access barriers.
• Coordinate with patient support services to assist patients and providers.
• Act as a payer access expert; stay current on policies and changes.
• Travel up to 60% and operate within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
