Job summary

Alfasigma USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to join our USA Rare Disease Payer Market Access team.

This remote-based role (IL, IN, MI, or OH) requires building access strategies with PBMs, HCPs, and payers to remove barriers and optimize patient adherence, with travel about three days a week. You will collaborate across Market Access, Sales, Marketing, and Patient Services to educate on coverage environments, prior authorization, and patient support programs while driving

Qualifications

• 7 years of proven commercial experience within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• 5 years of Market Access/Sales experience with PBM knowledge.
• Extensive pharmacy benefit knowledge and payer criteria expertise.
• Must live within territory and able to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Establish Alfasigma as a strategic partner with targeted accounts.
• Proactively engage with assigned accounts supporting internal/external customer access needs and compliantly engage within geography to support access and adherence needs.
• Educate office staff on prior authorization process, denial next steps, and appeals for all Alfasigma products.
• Educate on financial support options.
• Serve as an access and payer criteria expert for defined geography and communicate changes to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and demonstrate ability to expand and build long-term key stakeholder relationships with assigned accounts.
• Coordinate and educate customers to Alfasigma Patient Support Services program representatives.
• Act as an arm of the patient services team to provide live one-on-one coverage support.
• Educate physician office staff on patient support services available through Alfasigma’s US patient assistance and call center.
• Proactively communicate, explain, and adhere to Alfasigma-specific access services, policies and procedures; elevate coverage issues for resolution.
• Develop and support internal triage process around coverage concerns including denials or appeals.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties, as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and compliance training and regulatory directives.
