Job summary

Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. is seeking a Sr. Field Reimbursement Manager for Global Rare Diseases, based in Chicago, IL, with 8+ years in biopharma and deep US rare disease access experience.

You will educate on reimbursement, partner with RDAMs, payers, HUBs, and patient support teams to ensure timely patient access and sustained therapy. This field-based/remote position involves collaboration across regions, supporting patients and HCPs, and driving access strategies across the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in biopharmaceutical industry with pharma sales, access or market access experience.
• Rare disease reimbursement experience in the US.
• Experience working with 3rd party HUBs.
• Understand HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy.
• Patient-centric mindset with high emotional intelligence and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliant reimbursement and access education to designated accounts within the assigned territory (Minneapolis, MN & Chicago, IL).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners and vendors to ensure a seamless experience for patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support seamless, uninterrupted access for patients and providers across the product lifecycle.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to prevent and address access and reimbursement issues. This involves providing proactive education and problem-solving strategies.
• Provide education on affordability assistance options including copay assistance.
• Provide non-medical, educational support including what to expect when initiating therapy.
• Work seamlessly and in coordination with patient support services, specialty pharmacies, HUB vendor partner and other field teams to support patient access.
• Demonstrate the ability to partner cross-functionally in a matrix environment to enhance the experience of patients and providers.
