Qualifications

• Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and claims handling.
• Residential and commercial building construction knowledge.
• Familiarity with local regulations in the assigned territory.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to assess damages, estimate repairs, and negotiate settlements.
• Physical agility for climbing ladders/roofs; valid driver's license.
• Rope and Harness Safety Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to resolve claims efficiently.
• Explain coverage and estimate damages to insureds and guide them through the process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims up to $500,000.
• Evaluate policy terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits.
