State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related homeowner and commercial claims. You will meet insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with remarkable service.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, collaboration with involved parties, and gathering evidence to prepare detailed reports for settlements up to $500,000. Travel within territory and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in the insurance industry, specifically in property claims.
• Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage and claims handling practices.
• Knowledge of both residential and commercial building construction.
• Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in your assigned territory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs and negotiate settlements.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools.
• Physical agility for lifting, ladder work, roof inspections and tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license required.
