State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle on-site inspections for residential and commercial claims from a remote-field setup in Ohio. You will meet insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, document findings, and help guide claims to resolution with client-focused service.

You will inspect properties, gather evidence, adjust claims up to $500,000, and negotiate settlements while adhering to local regulations and policy terms.

Qualifications

• Experience as Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in property claims
• Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and claim handling practices
• Knowledge of residential and commercial building construction
• Familiarity with local regulations in the assigned territory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
• Proficiency with claims management software
• Physical agility for lifting, climbing ladders, roof access, and tight spaces
• Valid drivers license
• May require Rope and Harness Safety Training

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently
• Explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process
