Job summary

ICW Group in San Diego with regional offices is seeking a Field Premium Auditor to conduct in-field premium audits and determine accurate exposures and premiums. You will review payroll records and payroll classifications, coordinate with agents and underwriters, and ensure precise pricing while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business or related field required; 1-2 years of related experience in premium audit preferred.
• APA, CPCU, CIPA certifications are desirable but not required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines policies and payroll classifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs field audits for organizational accounts and resolves applicable disputes.
• Examines financial records to determine stated premium base.
• Manages audits of various sizes and complexity; collaborates with mentor/supervisor on complex accounts.
• Delivers excellent customer service throughout the audit experience.
• Resolves issues with reviewers, underwriters, and agents.
• Communicates with customers, agents, and external constituencies during audits.
• Presents audit status to management on a regular basis.
• Keeps current on premium auditing information through resources.
• Partners with customers to ensure a professional and expeditious audit.
• Examines payroll records and operations to determine premium.
