Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to cover big box stores in the Ogden, UT area. This remote role requires residence in Ogden and occasional travel to customer locations.

The position offers hourly pay of $20.00–$23.00, plus a $650 monthly auto allowance with fuel reimbursement, plus benefits and retirement programs. You will visit stores, set displays, and support store and district managers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle to travel to customer locations and Oldcastle businesses.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel to and from customer locations; some overnight travel may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, climb and use a ladder as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes a consistent daily/weekly customer visit schedule to meet needs and maintain cost effectiveness.
• Monitors store inventory using cycle counts and reports; works with customer service to resolve discrepancies.
• Participates in regional training classes and events.
• Leads or participates in customer events such as clinics, product knowledge classes and promotions.
• Builds and installs product displays and executes store resets.
• Ensures product is safely stacked and secured.
• Shares improvement ideas with supervisor to maximize shelf space.
