Job summary

JBS Live Pork, LLC in Central Missouri seeks a Remote Live Pork Field Manager to support contract producers, troubleshoot production issues, and strengthen farmer relationships. The role reports to Live Pork Production Manager James Van Booven and involves on-farm visits, problem solving, and documenting field reports.

You will manage 15-25 sites, oversee 50,000-100,000 pig spaces, travel 80% with occasional overnights, and contribute to profitability through operational improvements, training,

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Agriculture or Related field required.
• 5 years’ experience in a leadership position working with live swine accepted in lieu of BS/BA.
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, training, and developing new farm managers.
• Animal Welfare and environmental compliance by offering solutions.
• Medication/vet ordering and bio-security planning.
• Assists in controlling costs related to feed, supplies, and labor.
