Job summary

JBS Live Pork, LLC is seeking a Remote Field Manager for Central Missouri to guide a network of contract pork producers. You will troubleshoot production issues, manage relationships, and document on-farm reports.

Travel is extensive and you will work with the Production Manager to drive profitability through better practices. The role requires relocation to Central Missouri or willingness to relocate, with 80% travel and the ability to lead and train farm managers.

Qualifications

• Relocation to Central Missouri Region required.
• BS/BA degree in Agriculture or related field.
• Or, 5 years' leadership experience with live swine.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• 80%-day travel required, occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of business strategy and operations.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases.
• Valid driver's license; able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, training, and developing new farm managers.
• Animal Welfare and environmental compliance by offering solutions.
• Medication/vet ordering and bio-security planning.
• Assist producers in hitting production goals and improving profitability.
• Manage 15-25 producer sites with 50-100,000 pig spaces.
