JBS Foods in Central Missouri seeks a Remote Field Manager to oversee a group of contract pork producers, troubleshoot production issues, and strengthen on-farm processes. This salaried role reports to the Live Pork Production Manager and requires frequent travel to facilities.

You will coordinate with farms, manage producer relationships, assist in renewals, ensure compliance and safety, and document field reports.

Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in Agriculture or Related field required.
• Or, 5 years’ experience in a leadership position working with live swine.
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• 80%-day travel required, occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to motivate and inspire people to achieve high goals.
• Possess Problem Solving Techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge of overall business strategy and operations.
• Possesses proficiency in spreadsheet, database, word processing software.
• Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and lift approximately 60+lbs.
• Maintained vehicle 6 years or newer for frequent weekly travel to facilities.

• Medication/vet ordering.
• Bio-Security compliance and action planning.
• Assists in controlling costs associated with feed, supplies, and labor.
• Maintains accurate number integrity for record keeping.
• Coordinates and oversees completion of special projects.
• Makes recommendations for operational improvements.
• Assist Farms in hitting production goals.
