Job summary

JBS Live Pork, LLC is seeking a Remote Field Manager for Central Missouri to support contract producers, troubleshoot production issues, and drive profitability. You will conduct farm visits, manage producer relationships, assist in contract renewals, and coordinate with the Live Pork Production Manager to optimize efficiency.

This role requires extensive travel and independent decision-making. Relocation to Central Missouri and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are

Qualifications

• Relocation to Central Missouri Region.
• BS/BA degree in Agriculture or Related field, or 5 years' leadership with live swine.
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• 80%-day travel required, occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to motivate and inspire people to achieve high goals.
• Possess Problem Solving Techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge of overall business strategy and operations.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, word processing software.
• Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and lift approximately 60+lbs.
• Maintained vehicle 6 years or newer for frequent weekly travel.

Responsibilities

• 40% - Pork Producer Training
• 20% - Auditing Facility and Environmental compliance and provide solutions
• 20% - Assist producers in Property Marketing's Animals
• 20% - Administrative duties such as pig conformance, budgets, closeout
• 80% - day travel required, occasional overnight travel
• Work independently to Market Animals
• Coach, train, and develop new farm managers
• Ensure Animal Welfare and Environmental Compliance
• Medication/vet ordering
• Bio-Security planning and action
• Assist in controlling costs for feed, supplies, and labor
• Maintain record-keeping integrity
• Coordinate and oversee special projects
• Make operational improvement recommendations
• Other duties assigned by Production Manager
