Job summary

JBS Live Pork, LLC is seeking a Remote Field Manager in Central MO to oversee a group of contract pork producers, troubleshoot production issues, and strengthen relationships with customers. You will work with the Live Pork Production Manager to deliver practical solutions and reports from on-farm visits.

Responsibilities include training producers, auditing facilities for compliance, managing budgets, and supporting contract renewals while traveling regularly to sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Previous swine field manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Pork producer training (40%).
• Audit facilities for environmental compliance and propose solutions.
• Assist producers in marketing animals.
• Administrative duties: conformance, budgets, closeout processes.
• Travel 80% of the time with occasional overnight travel.
• Coach and develop new farm managers.
• Ensure animal welfare and environmental compliance.
• Order medications and veterinary supplies.
• Bio-security planning and compliance.
• Control costs for feed, supplies and labor.
• Maintain accuracy of production records.
• Coordinate and oversee special projects.
• Make recommendations for operational improvements.
