Job summary

Neros Technologies is seeking a Field Instructor to lead a Mobile Training Team and deliver mission-critical training to warfighters across the U.S. and abroad.

Qualifications

• Prior military or experience with the military is preferred.
• Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring adults in technical or tactical environments.
• Possess a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or obtain within 45 days of hire.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and classroom leadership skills.
• Familiarity with FPV systems and UAS operations, including basic air and ground components.
• Confidence leading groups in classroom and field environments and adapting on the fly.
• Experience using flight simulators as part of training programs (preferred).
• Working knowledge of ATAK (preferred).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, including grading, reporting, and inventory tracking.
• Mission-first mindset, willingness to travel, and ownership over training outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead instructor and customer-facing point of contact for all field training operations.
• Deliver classroom instruction using standardized Neros curriculum, ensuring engagement and comprehension across skill levels.
• Coach students through hands-on troubleshooting and system operation with adaptable instruction.
• Manage pre- and post-course logistics, including scheduling, site setup, gear preparation, and customer coordination.
• Maintain training records, rosters, sign-in sheets, and pass/fail assessments using defined criteria.
• Submit after-action reports, performance summaries, and feedback to the Training Lead.
• Identify trends or challenges in student performance and provide structured curriculum feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mission Success, to align training with operations.
• Provide end-user feedback to inform product development and drive improvements.
• Maintain professionalism and instructional quality across classroom and range environments.
