Job summary

Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is seeking a Field Experience Counselor to coordinate clinical and practicum activities and liaise with faculty and students. The role offers remote work opportunities for AZ, ID, or UT residents and involves two weeks of training, one in-person at Phoenix, AZ, and one week virtual via Zoom.

The starting salary is $38,000 per year. You will support placement, deadlines, and student communications while working in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 60 college credits completed.
• 6 months related professional experience in higher education.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, students, and the public.
• Ability to handle a high-volume inbound/outbound call environment.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collect and track immunization and health and safety documentation for clinical rotations.
• Ensure students meet deadlines and notify parties of non-compliance.
• Communicate with students and faculty before documentation expires or files are out of date.
• Assist with placement of students in practicum and clinical rotations, including site issues.
• Handle a high volume of calls while meeting customer service standards.
• Establish rapport and relationships with students.
• Encourage students to stay on track with requirements.
• Collaborate within a high-performance team and support other members.
• Manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
