Job summary

Grand Canyon Education seeks a University Admissions Counselor to oversee the Phoenix, AZ territory in a remote (work from home in Phoenix, AZ) role. Starting salary is $58,656 per year with potential increases after each recruitment cycle, and frequent travel within the territory.

You will build awareness of academic programs, counsel prospective students and families, and collaborate with local community colleges to generate inquiries and enrollments.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree.

• High emotional intelligence is key to coaching a diverse student population.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; travel 1–3 times per month from Phoenix.

Responsibilities

• Host and implement event/activity plans to build program awareness and drive inquiry.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and families via in-person, phone, email, text, or Zoom.
• Travel within the territory to attend fairs, school visits, presentations and campus events.
• Serve as a campus ambassador for Grand Canyon University in the Phoenix area.
