Job summary

Stalcup & Associates LLC seeks an OSP Engineer to design and manage fiber-optic network projects, including OSP design for new builds and public ROW relocations. The role involves working with clients and municipalities, identifying conflicts, and delivering solutions per client specs.

This is a remote position, with on-site field visits as needed. The candidate should have 3–5+ years in fiber/telecom engineering, strong leadership and vendor management, and proficiency in MS Office/Excel.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and project management skills.
• Experience with fiber-optic/telecom engineering and OSP design.
• Knowledge of ROW rights, permitting and DOT coordination is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google applications; Excel skills required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering activities to implement fiber network maintenance and relocation projects.
• Oversee design, implementation and testing of new fiber builds to maximize reliability.
• Coordinate with external contractors, municipalities and consultants.
• Prepare cost analyses, route mapping and project specifications.
• Lead large-scale projects and drive productivity via vendor resources.
