Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across the U.S. You will manage on-site configuration, testing, and post-cut support for both on-premise and cloud-hosted environments, with heavy travel (>75%).

Responsibilities include configuring, testing, and troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure, documenting changes, and collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments and migrations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or Associate degree, plus Bachelor's degree.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.
• Willingness to travel over 75%.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to cutting a site into production.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to Customer and Channel Partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Contributes to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations.
