Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking a Field Consultant to cover Northern Indiana, working from a home office to conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys for insurance clients. You will schedule surveys, visit homes, take photos and precise measurements, and document conditions for loss control and underwriters.

The role offers flexible, independent contractor work (1099) with mentoring from Field Management. Prior experience in insurance adjusting, appraisals, or related fields is a plus;

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism is key.
• BA or BS degree desired, but not required.
• Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer.
• A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance.
• High speed internet, Digital Camera or smartphone with 16MP camera or greater, measuring devices such as laser, tape measure, or measuring wheel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements, and note issues for underwriter review.
