Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to execute start-up, commissioning and training on Belt Presses, ISO-Discs, and SBR Floating Decanters at customer sites. This remote role is prioritized for US East Coast locations and requires travel 75–85%.

You will perform startup activities, provide hands-on training, and ensure safe, efficient operation, with focus on meeting specifications and delivering solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 5+ years field service or equivalent experience in compatible products.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, commissioning and testing at customer locations.
• Provide customer training on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Familiar with P&ID, electrical schematics and basic automation.
• Support project managers to ensure plants meet specs at delivery.
