Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks a skilled field service engineer to perform on-board service, commissioning and troubleshooting of ballast water treatment equipment across the Northeast US region. You will work with Global Marine Service teams on international service jobs, visiting vessels and ensuring compliance, calibration and performance.

Candidates should have a technical degree and experience with CRM/planning tools, electrical and automation controls, and be willing to travel offshore.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CRM systems, planning tools and database handling.
• Electrical and Automation knowledge minimum EPC 50/60 / boiler controllers.
• Ability to work outside normal working hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute field service and commissioning on board vessels.
• Diagnose, solve and report solutions and improvements, including third party equipment.
• Autonomy in troubleshooting in harbors; may sail to resolve issues.
• Install, inspect and commission PureBallast equipment onboard.
• Conduct compliance service including water sampling and filter inspection.
