Job summary

American Integrity Insurance Group in South Carolina is seeking a Field Claims Adjuster to investigate and settle field claims across the state. You will confirm coverage, document damages, and manage reserves while interacting with insureds, agents, and vendors to reach fair settlements.

The role is remote from the home with daily service to the assigned territory, and requires SC licensure or progress toward it, plus prior field claims experience and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years field claims adjusting; 3–5 years estimating claims; carrier experience preferred.
• SC 520/620 license desired; time to obtain license available.
• Insurance courses such as IIA, AEI, or CPCU preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills; proficient with Windows/Office.

Responsibilities

• Confirm coverage and resolve coverage issues; contact insured same day.
• Investigate cause of loss; obtain documentation and reports; evaluate subrogation.
• Review and process correspondence; maintain up-to-date claim diary.
• Process payments or denials based on policy coverage; document thoroughly.
• Assess exposure; set reserves; notify management of large losses.
• Communicate professionally with insureds, agents, and vendors.
