Sedgwick is seeking a Field Case Manager to cover the Lexington, KY region. The role involves working face-to-face with injured workers and medical providers to facilitate care, advocate for timely return-to-work, and coordinate communication among all parties.

A home-based office is maintained with frequent travel within the region. Ideal candidates will bring medical/clinical or rehabilitation knowledge and a strong ability to advocate for effective medical treatment while supporting a caring,

Qualifications

• RN licensure preferred; or bachelor’s degree in health or human services with CCM, CDMS, or CRC certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
• Clear and conceptual thinking with good judgment and problem solving.
• Strong advocacy and communication with injured workers and providers.
• Work in a home-based office with occasional travel.

Responsabilités

• Serve as patient advocate to support, guide and coordinate care for injured workers, families and caregivers as they navigate through the recovery process.
• Assist injured workers in achieving recovery and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, identification of service resources and service facilitation.
• Identify appropriate providers and facilities throughout the continuum of services, while ensuring available resources are used timely and cost-effectively for client and reimbursement.
