Job summary

CAL-CERT, an Accredited Labs Company, is seeking a Calibration Technician - Field Service to perform calibrations at customer sites and in our shop. You will travel across Idaho and throughout the US to calibrate a wide range of instruments, ensuring accuracy and reliability in line with ISO 17025 requirements.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or technical background with exposure to calibration procedures and a strong focus on quality, communication, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field service travel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
• Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations both in our shop and at customer sites in the field.
• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025.
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Work directly with clients throughout the calibration process from first onsite touch point to completion of project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
• Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates.
• Travel to customer locations across Idaho and throughout the US as needed.
