Job summary

Accredited Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician to join CAL-CERT’s Lab Team. This field role is remote, traveling to customer sites across Idaho and the United States to calibrate various measuring devices and instruments.

Ideal candidates bring a mechanical/technical background and are committed to accuracy, with strong communication and a detail-oriented approach to ensure quality results.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of calibration experience in electrical, physical, or mechanical fields.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field travel.
• Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate calibrations in shop and at customer sites.
• Perform calibrations per ISO 17025 procedures.
• Calibrate a variety of devices per established procedures.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate with customers and provide updates throughout the process.
• Travel to customer locations across Idaho and the US as needed.
