Job summary

OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation is seeking Contract Investigators in Hamilton, GA. This as-needed role does not guarantee hours, with a minimum of ten hours per week when work is available. Travel within a 35–50 mile radius may be required, including TDYs.

Candidate must be a US citizen, have a HS diploma, 1 year of federal background investigative experience, and some FIS experience. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and ability to obtain clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of specialized Federal Background investigative experience within the last 5 years.
• Must have some FIS experience and be able to obtain required security clearance.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel on temporary duty assignments by car or plane.
• Pass background checks and all required training; able to write reports clearly.
• Strong ability to interpret instructions and read/analyze professional materials.
• Proficient in MS Windows environment and Microsoft Office.
• Current SSBI or active Secret clearance based on SSBI required to obtain higher clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews per agency guidelines.
• Obtain factual information from diverse sources to produce a complete report.
• Travel within geographic area to various employment/residence/education sites.
• Be willing to travel 30–50 miles as needed; participate in TDY assignments 2–4 weeks.
• Engage with managers and government/ law enforcement partners to maintain cooperation.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communications in all situations.
• Adjust to changing environments and maintain a professional demeanor.
