Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser to join our Claims team supporting the South San Diego territory. This is a remote, territory-based role that handles claims both virtually and in the field throughout the South San Diego area, including Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, La Mesa, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, National City, Imperial Beach, and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing auto claims, conducting vehicle inspections, and using CCC ONE estimating

Qualifications

• Experience managing a variety of auto claims.
• Ability to conduct vehicle inspections.
• Experience using CCC ONE estimating software to prepare damage estimates.
• Ability to work with repair facilities and customers to settle claims.

Responsibilities

• Builds established relationships with internal and external customers.
• Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiates settlements and documents activities within delegated authority.
• Processes understanding of policy types written by the company.
• Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals to create damages estimates for 1st and 3rd party losses.
