Job summary

ReSource Pro is seeking a Remote Physical Auditor to join our Premium Services Audit team. You will conduct in-person and virtual premium audits with insured businesses to ensure accurate classification and reporting of Workers’ Compensation and General Liability exposures, gathering data through onsite visits, interviews, and facility walkthroughs.

The role requires traveling to assigned sites, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with audit systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates must reside in or in the immediate area of Bakersfield.
• Ability to travel up to one hour each way to reach assigned audit sites.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of work experience in auditing, accounting, insurance, or a client-facing role preferred.
• 1–2 years of independent field-based work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct onsite and virtual audits with insured clients, including interviews, walkthroughs, and verification of business operations; regular travel required (up to 1 hour each way).
• Collect, organize, and verify documentation via secure portals, email, or follow-up methods.
• Prepare and submit detailed audit reports meeting service timelines.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with insureds and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting client satisfaction or carrier relationships.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold quality standards and a positive workplace culture.
