Job summary

Leica Biosystems is looking for a Field Applications Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA. This remote role involves providing in-field technical applications support for automated instrumentation and reagents.

You will help achieve regional sales and profitability goals while supporting core Histology customers. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma with relevant histology experience. Preferred qualifications include a degree and histology certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year Histology laboratory experience in clinical, research, or industrial setting.
• Understanding of the product relevant Histology marketplace.
• Experience in optimization, operation, functionality, and support of core Histology products.

Responsibilities

• Support sales goals in the region for Instrumentation and Consumables.
• Installation, evaluations, and optimization for instrumentation.
• Provide post-purchase application support and training.
