Job summary

INFICON is seeking a dynamic Field Applications Engineering leader for Advanced Industry, fully remote in the United States. The role focuses on building a high-performing applications team, driving growth through strategic field application initiatives, and strengthening major account relationships.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 5+ years in advanced manufacturing or semiconductor processes; a Master’s degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 5+ years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing or semiconductor processes.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics is desirable.
• Travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-performing applications team through talent development, coaching, and mentorship.
• Develop and execute a field application strategy to drive growth opportunities.
• Drive design win growth by setting targets and identifying new opportunities.
• Foster technical relationships with major accounts and collaborate cross-functionally to exceed customer expectations.
• Establish and maintain benchmark customer excellence processes and deliver tailored solutions.
• Utilize data-driven insights to monitor performance and guide decision-making.
• Own budget planning and management for the field applications function.
