Job summary

INFICON is seeking a Field Applications Engineering leader for Advanced Industry, fully remote in the United States. You will drive growth, develop a high-performing team, deepen technical engagements, and elevate INFICON’s position in markets served.

Responsibilities include talent development, strategic leadership, design win growth, and managing major customer relationships, with data-driven performance analytics and budget ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 5+ years of applications experience in advanced manufacturing or relevant field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics is desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Talent Development: build and mentor a high performing applications team.
• Strategic Leadership: craft and execute field application strategy with stakeholders.
• Design Win Growth: set ambitious targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Account Relationships: manage CTO-level customer relationships and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Customer Excellence: establish processes for exceptional service and tailored solutions.
• Performance Analytics: use data to monitor, report, and guide decisions.
• Budget Management: lead budget planning for the field applications function.
