Job summary

Wolfspeed – Power Products is seeking a Field Application Engineer for strategic SiC platforms on the East Coast, with a remote work setup. You will lead technical engagements, guide system-level designs, and coordinate across global teams to ensure consistent messaging and successful adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics applications, FAE, or system design roles.
• Strong expertise in SiC MOSFETs, power modules, and high-voltage power conversion (400V-1200V+).
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across global regions and influence large EMS organizations.
• Strong communication skills capable of engaging both engineers and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the global technical lead for assigned East Coast customers supporting Wolfspeed SiC programs.
• Coordinate cross-regional FAE, sales, and engineering teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
• Support scalable platform adoption across multiple geographies and manufacturing sites.
• Drive alignment between customer design teams and Wolfspeed product, quality, and operations teams.
• Lead technical design reviews, workshops, and failure analysis discussions.
• Travel internationally as needed to support key customer milestones and strategic programs.
