Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to act as the primary technical interface with East Coast customers, driving SiC design wins and aligning global cross-regional teams from design-in through high-volume production.

The role requires deep power electronics expertise, experience with SiC MOSFETs and modules, and the ability to influence platform-level decisions across Automotive, Industrial Power, and AI infrastructure programs. Remote, with international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power electronics applications, FAE, or system design roles.
• Strong cross-regional coordination and ability to influence EMS organizations.
• Experience with SiC MOSFETs, modules, and high-voltage conversion.
• Excellent communication with engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the global technical lead for East Coast customers, coordinating with regional teams.
• Guide system-level SiC implementation, optimization, and reliability considerations.
• Drive platform expansion across Automotive, Industrial Power, Data Center AI initiatives.
• Lead design reviews, workshops, and customer audits; support executive engagements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Marketing, Quality, and Supply Chain to align roadmaps.
