Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to serve as the primary technical interface with West Coast customers. This role drives scalable SiC design wins, ensuring flawless execution from design‑in through high‑volume production, and coordinates technical alignment across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

This position requires deep power electronics expertise, strong global coordination capability, and the ability to influence platform‑level decisions in high‑growth end markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics applications, FAE, or system design roles.
• Strong expertise in SiC MOSFETs and power modules; high‑voltage power conversion (400V–1200V+).
• Experience coordinating across global regions and influencing large EMS organizations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the global technical lead for assigned West Coast customers supporting Wolfspeed SiC programs.
• Coordinate cross‑regional FAE, sales, and engineering teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
• Support scalable platform adoption across multiple geographies and manufacturing sites.
• Drive alignment between customer design teams and Wolfspeed product, quality, and operations teams.
