Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to serve as the primary technical interface with East Coast customers. You will drive scalable SiC design wins, ensuring design-in through high-volume production and coordinating across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

The role requires deep power electronics expertise, strong global coordination, and the ability to influence platform-level decisions in growth end markets. Remote location with international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in power electronics applications, FAE, or system design roles.
• Experience with SiC MOSFETs, power modules, and high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the global technical lead for assigned East Coast customers supporting Wolfspeed SiC programs.
• Coordinate cross-regional FAE, sales, and engineering teams for consistent messaging.
• Support scalable platform adoption across geographies and manufacturing sites.
• Drive alignment between customer design teams and Wolfspeed product, quality, and operations teams.
• Lead technical design reviews, workshops, and failure analysis discussions.
