Job summary

Wolfspeed seeks a Field Application Engineer to act as the primary technical interface for East Coast customers, driving scalable SiC design wins and coordinating across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. You will influence platform-level decisions and ensure flawless execution from design-in to high-volume production.

The role requires deep power electronics expertise, global coordination skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and operations to optimize SiC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in power electronics applications, FAE, or system design roles.
  • Strong expertise in SiC MOSFETs and power modules.
  • High-voltage power conversion (400V–1200V+).
  • Thermal and switching performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as global technical lead for East Coast customers supporting Wolfspeed SiC programs.
  • Coordinate cross-regional FAE, sales, and engineering teams for consistent messaging and execution.
  • Support scalable platform adoption across geographies and manufacturing sites.
  • Drive alignment between customer design teams and Wolfspeed product, quality, and operations teams.
  • Lead technical design reviews, workshops, and engagement with executives.
